On Sunday my rec either dose Laura accompanied me to the forefront dam Cafe in Miami Beach. We went at around 8:30 or so. I couldnt attend earlier because I had some family issues to resolve. I was expecting the ambient to be somewhat serious. I turned out that the in the main everyone that attended the Van Dyke looked corresponding they were passionate about medicine, and seemed pretty chill and relaxed. whatsoever older looking man looked like he was real into the music that was being played, and kept makes strange faces as he kept bobbing his head while snapping his fingers. My friend and i could not help but to laugh a bit. Some chick that sang blues was playing before we got there. Too uncollectible we couldnt get there on time because I sincerely like the blues sang by women. Joshua Stedman, singer and songwriter, was in the middle of the song called Fool Ive Been as we sat down. He was playing an acoustic guitar accompanied by the piano, played by his friend Max Farber. This song had a slow tempo. It was mostly piano and vocals with a little bit of guitar on the chorus. A Martin DM was the type of acoustic guitar he was playing. His style of music sounds like Soul/Pop. When he sang, his style sounded somewhat like the blues, starting with a low tone and ending high.
Joshua sounded a lot like lead singer Jay Kay from British hit the hay funk and acid jazz band Jamiroquai. Stedman had a make headway and powerful voice that draws you in, slips into your ears and kinda makes you smile, like the song he would go on to play later. The second song that my friend Laura and I heard was called grimace. It was about four transactions long. I was literally hypnotized to the sound of the acoustic in that song. The song had some very elusive guitar riffs. The lyrics to both songs I heard were pretty decent. My favorite line from the song Smile was at the very beginning of the song where he says, Its all in her smile. It empties me out as I gaze at her defenselessly.
