Heinrich Luitpold Himmler, born on the 7th of October in 1900, grew up in a middle-class German family in Landshut, Germany. His father, Joseph Gebhard Himmler, was a personable man and was highly sympathetic with those who were less fortunate than himself. Yet, to his own children he was extremely psychologically abusive.
