I Speak Peace in the twenty-first Century and Beyond

It come alongs like the war on terror pass on never end; it appears to be an ongoing battle in this 21st century. The war started after the events of September 11, 2001. The events of that day had a profound affect on not only the linked States, but the whole world. The War in Iraq was initiated by prexy George W. Bush in order to defend and protect the united States and Iraq. In my personal opinion, I think former president Bush started war with the wrong country. It should have been Afghanistan.

Now things seem to be changing with the war on act of terrorism. President Barak Obama has interpreted steps in the right direction by speech our begun sending our troops home from Iraq. However, the war on terrorism let off continues in Afghanistan. Some critics, such as the Republicans would contend for the war in Iraq to continue. In my opinion this is not a good idea. We have helped other countries to become a democracy. I think that Iraq at present has the ability to defend themselves. According to Rummel, in the article, Century of Bloodshed by Arlene Levinson, Rummel stated that people ar safest when their government is democratic. I think Iraq is a little safer now.



We still have a long way to go with Afghanistan and now Egypt.

The Word of God says to speak things as though they were. My prescription drug for peace is to say that the war on terrorism provide end very soon and that every nation becomes a democratic nation and all nations will be at peace with each other. As long as we take a breather democratic, I think we will be fine. I in full support President Obama in his efforts to help bring peace to every nation. I think that funding for the war could be used on something more worthy like education, healthcare and affordable housing to name a few.
