Paul B head Bryant
Paul William Bryant was born on September 11,1913 in Fordyce,Arkansas. Bryant was the 11th out of 12 children, one-third others had died in infancy. Bryant was raised in the poor rural South. His fetch was disabled much of his life, forcing Bryant and his siblings to work on the family farm. His mothers name was Ida, William was his father. Bryant has open a well known nickname Bear. thither was once a slice that came to Fordyce doing a theater promotion. The man was offering money to anyone who would wrestle a bear. Bryants family was short on money so he wanted to step up and wrestle the bear. So the 13 year old, 6-foot-1, 180 jab boy step in the ring with bear. During the struggle with the bear, Bryant had his ear bitten. The man never paid Bryant for his efforts, but he did pull ahead one thing, the nickname Bear. After graduation Bryant was offered a craft at the University of Alabama to be an as U.S.S Uruguay off the seacoast of South Africa. Bryants playing old age began when he was in eighth grade when high tutor coach approched him asking if he would try out because he was amazed by his size for his age. The next friday night Bryant witnessed his first football game. Bryant quickly picked up knowledge on the game,making the team after tryouts. Bryant was placed at two positions offensive barricade and defensive end. In 1930 the Fordyce Red Bugs won the Arkansas stir championship. Bryant was offered a scholarship to play for the University of Alabama, however, Bear did not equalise the requirements for the university.
