Many people feel as though they collect more in life and would agree that there is always something better out there. In William Shakespeares King Lear numerous characters translate to change their roles in order to gain antecedent and social status. Edmund is tired of being known as the mother fucker bastard, he plots to displace his legitimate blood brother Edgar, and as a result ends up getting killed by him. Edgar disguises himself as a mad man beggar in hopes of escaping his death execration from his father. King Lears outlook on life changes as he realizes the mistakes he made when he was King.
