Susan Minots crave chronicles the life-time of the narrator, a teenaged fille away at embarkation take. The narrator begins by explicitly detailing each of her familiar conquests. Why the difference? What changed? I came to the realization that while the fundamental act was essentially the same, it was the publics nudeness about sex and sexual urge that changed most significantly. Americas views of sexuality have drastically been altered since the publishing of Lust.
